Dr. Christopher Oviedo
Dr. Oviedo received his B.S. degree in General Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 2006 and his D.D.S. degree from the University of the Pacific in 2009. He practiced dentistry in the United States Navy where he treated about 3,000 patients and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal as well as the Afghanistan Campaign Medal. After serving our country, he completed his orthodontic residency and received an M.S. degree in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California (USC). He has been practicing orthodontics in Monterey County and the South Bay Area since 2015.
Dr. Oviedo comes from a lineage of San Franciscans and will be the fifth successive generation of his family to call San Francisco “home”. He is also a second-generation orthodontist as his late father practiced in the Sacramento area for nearly 40 years. Dr. Oviedo belongs to numerous professional organizations and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
